Hi, I'm Makayla & welcome to Wet Your Plants.
Little did I know, a single golden pothos would begin my journey into the wonderful world of plants.
I browsed through a local store when a planter caught my eye. There was barely any interest in the plant itself at first. I was going to give it to a friend. But now, almost 2.5 years later, I've harvested handfuls of cuttings off this mother plant & her tendrils are taking over my bathroom walls.
A love for all things green (& perhaps flowering) blossomed. I have since added various other plants to almost every room. My family says we "may as well live in a jungle".
Around the same time, I accepted job positions at nurseries where I learned more about both indoor & outdoor flora. This furthered my interest & love for plant care. I'm excited to be able to share this knowledge, & provide tips & tricks for fellow plant enthusiasts.
Whether you have a naturally 'green thumb' or not, I promise it is yet another skill that you'll be able to cultivate.
